A good routine should be easy enough to repeat. Persimmon soap does not require a complicated ritual or a shelf full of extra products.
1. Wet and lather
Wet your body and the bar. Build a comfortable lather in your hands or on a clean washcloth.
2. Wash the full body
Use the lather from shoulders to feet. Give a little extra attention to the neck, chest, back, underarms, feet and skin folds—places where skin oils, sweat and fabric contact can overlap. Use externally only and avoid internal intimate areas.
3. Rinse thoroughly
Rinse away all lather. Aggressive scrubbing is unnecessary and may leave mature skin feeling tight.
4. Dry skin and soap
Pat the body dry with a fresh towel. Store the bar on a draining soap dish so it can dry between uses.
5. Start with clean fabrics
Fresh skin can quickly pick up scent from an old towel, shirt or pillowcase. When beginning a new odor-care routine, wash the fabrics that spend the most time against your neck and torso.
How often?
Use the bar as part of your regular shower schedule. Consistency matters more than using too much product at once. If skin becomes irritated, stop use and reassess.
